Stephanie Kuykendal gewond in Irak
An American news photographer and two U.S. Marines suffered minor injuries Thursday when their vehicle was blasted by a roadside bomb.
The photographer, Stephanie Kuykendal (28), was treated for light facial injuries at a U.S. Navy combat hospital at the main military base outside Fallujah.
A pair of Marines also riding inside the light armored vehicle were treated for shrapnel cuts and light burns, the military said.
Kuykendal, who works for the Corbis photo agency, was embedded with U.S. Marines preparing for a possible assault on Fallujah.
